New to IMGBurn and have just a couple of questions: refresh, defailt volume name

Just started using IMGBurn and so far I really like the program (coming from Nero Burning Rom).

 

I've been able to figure out most things but I stumped on just a couple items (I did a search but didn't find the answers).

 

At the end of each month I create a disc to include the contents of a folder.

 

I've done this by saving my compilation as a project.

 

When I re-open the project how do I "refresh" the folder to include new files?

 

And, is there a way to create a default volume name when writing files to a disc?

If you used 'standard' input mode, the project file will only contain the name of the folder you added - so when you load the project again, it'll end up burning everything currently in it and not just what was in it when you created the project file.

 

The project file saves the volume labels you've entered, so those will get restored too.

I used 'advanced" input mode.

 

Is there a way to update the folder contents if "advanced" input mode is used?

Only if you edit the project file and just add the top level folders, followed by a trailing backslash and a * ('*').

 

The program will then add everything under that folder.
