BTL05 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I am hopeless over challenged. Please advise. No problems in the past burning DL dvd though it had been a while since I have. I know these aren't the recommended media. All I can say to that is that this is the first issue I've had. Also no problems as of yesterday burning regular dvd or cd. The burn process doesn't get past writing lead-in. Any assistance is appreciated. dbminter Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Yeah, my first impression was the Ritek DVD+R DL media. While I had no problem burning the Ritek DVD+R DL's I had from TDK a few years ago, Ritek is not the same quality equally all over the world. For instance, in R1, Ritek seems to be relatively decent 2nd tier media. In R2, though, Ritek seems to be a lower quality media.
