Which new DVD drive supports book type DVD-ROM?

Hello guys, 

 

I recently bought a LG Electronics GH24NSB0 drive and I was wondering that it doesn’t support book type DVD-ROM in ImgBurn 2.5.8.0

 

So now I want to know which new DVD burner supports this DVD-ROM book type? What brand you can recommend?

From what I've seen in other people's log files, the booktype stuff seems to work ok on DVD+R DL discs. What are you trying to burn / booktype to DVD-ROM?

I use Verbatim DVD+R DL discs so they work. If I try so set the book type DVD-ROM I get the error message "invalid command operation code"

 

If I use another drive from a friend, LG GH22NS50, everything works fine (same computer) but this drive isn't on the market anymore.

You don't need to do anything manually, the program takes care of it all automatically.
