Imgburn: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error

Windows messages don't really concern me, please just load ImgBurn, switch to write mode and then put your blank disc in the drive.

 

Your drive shouldn't be any more or less able to read/write discs in safe mode. It's just the loading of drivers that changes in safe mode.

OMG, THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, THE DVD WAS SUCCESSFULLY BURNT USING SAFE MODE.

 

Also why do you think it can only burn in safe mode and not in normal mode?

Something else you've got installed on your machine is probably messing things up.

 

What's in your filter driver list? Use the feature in the Tools menu to find out. Copy the info to the clipboard and then paste it here please.
