Can't burn DVD DL image with Booktype DVD-Rom, can I?

Hello,

I'm trying to burn an DVD-DL image to a Verbatim DVD+DL disk.

I have 3 devices (BH16NS40 1.03-A0, SH-B123L SB04, AD-7640S HD18), only with the Optiarc DVD+-RW AD-7640S i can change the book type at all ...

But I'm not sure .. is the burned disk really in the format DVD-Rom?

I'm not sure how to interpret the following status window after the burn was complete:

May I have to try a different burner? ... But which one? :-(

This disc is still not accepted by my application as a valid disc :/

Found the problem:

I disassembled my whole unit (RNS 510, just in case anybody get the same problem) - disassembled the CD/DVD drive also - and cleaned the lens with "Hama CD/DVD cleaning spray" .... eh voila! ... It's working ....

So an error can also be just a dirty reading unit ... and searching for an burn error can drive you crazy... especially when there is none ...
