LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Try burning at 4x. If that doesn't work, stop using those discs and buy the recommended Verbatim ones.
perdrix Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 No dis-respect intended, but how come they work in my HDD/DVD recorder for high speed dubbing just fine? Methinks there's more to this than just the brand of disk. Dave
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Because that's a totally different drive? Every drive has different abilities. Some can burn certain MID discs better than others. Your Samsung SH-S202J burner doesn't like them very much. Using different (better) discs is the easy option. If you'd prefer to buy another drive and hope it does a better job, feel free to do so.
perdrix Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 It was the darn drive, I swapped in another one DVD burner which burnt the DVD just fine. I hope the new Pioneer BDR-209DBK BD-RE drive behaves OK! Thanks
