Jun Yan Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I have no problem burning audio CD's using Mitsui XtraFiles CD-R's. These are really old Mitsui Gold's and I am running out of them, so I used the same drive and settings(4x speed) to burn Mitsui's newer 650MB Gold CD-R's, 41141. The newer CD-R's failed verification, tracks after the first 3 became unreadable. Are there any settings that I can change to burn the CD-R's properly?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Maybe a faster speed would produce better results? Cleaning the drive may help too. You could try enabling the 'perform OPC before write' setting to see if that makes a difference.
