akgarlic Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 i started burning process buffer is 100 % but completion progress is 0% i waited for 20 mins, no error is shown in the log i have also tried other burning programs, tried different iso's but the result is same the error shown in windows disc burner it showed the error code 0XC0AA0301 ImgBurn.log
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 So it's either the discs you're using or the system as a whole. Try booting into safe mode and see if you have the same issue.
akgarlic Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 Which safe mode should I try? Safe Mode, Safe Mode with networking or safe mode with cmd? i tried the simple safe mode but the DVD wasn't even detected.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Simple safe mode... but it doesn't really matter. I don't know why your drive didn't even show up... weird! In normal windows mode (not safe mode), go into Write mode, right click the Destination drive drop down box and pick 'Family Tree'. Close the prompt that comes up and then copy + paste everything from the Log window please.

akgarlic Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 One more thing I forgot to mention- When the burning process starts, the speed spins for about 3-4 seconds and stops.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Update the firmware on your drive and try again. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH24NS70/files.html
akgarlic Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Updating firmware didn't helped. The DVD I am using is moserbaer 4056 535 -R E D 4707
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 You aren't using decent discs but the drive still shouldn't just be getting stuck and not erroring out. I don't understand why your drive doesn't show up in safe mode. Your machine's sata controller is only in basic ata mode rather than ahci. Do you have any other discs you can try? Do you have anything in your filters drivers list? It's in the Tools menu and you can copy + paste the info.
akgarlic Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 I tried to burn the same DVD in my friend's laptop but the result was same. This might mean that the DVD was corrupt.I havent tried another disc on my PC yet.
