I have been using Imgburn for ages, no troubles. Out of nowhere I get this from my ImgBurn Log and can't burn any DVDs:

I 00:21:54 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started!
I 00:21:54 Microsoft Windows 8 Core x64 Edition (6.2, Build 9200)
I 00:21:54 Total Physical Memory: 4,003,100 KiB  -  Available: 2,228,820 KiB
I 00:21:54 Initialising SPTI...
I 00:21:54 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...
W 00:21:54 No devices detected!

I've burnt many ISOs on this computer no problem. I just now get this. I've tried turning my PC on and off, completely restarting it, uninstalling and reinstalling ImgBurn, restarting again. After research I found it cannot find my driver. My PC has a sticker with the specs on it and I have a DVD-Super Multi DL drive. Please help, I'm such a noob with this. I've never had this issue before and cannot find a way to resolve it. I'd love to Teamview or chat on Xbox 360. Or even Kik. My Xbox gamertag is Obama Poptart, and my Kik is grand_bananas. My Facebook is Harley Turner. You can reply back on this post but I just find it would be easier to chat and not have to wait a couple hours back for a response. Also I'm using Verbatim 8.5gb DVD+R DL discs with a 2.4x write speed. Don't know if that helps any but there it is. And yes I have burnt backup games on this same PC so I know it works. It's also under the section "Write Img File to Disc" (the first one) that this is happening to me on. I have a screenshot of what's happening to me: post-54528-0-25564400-1428040495_thumb.png

Thank you to anyone who helps! I'm super confused on what to do! Also the dropbox on No Devices Detected! doesn't work either. Even when I check Test Mode. Thanks again

If the program is saying it can't find any devices then the issue is probably with the OS itself.

Look in device manager and see if your optical drive has a yellow exclamation mark next to it - or if it isn't listed at all.

Google for Microsoft's' cd/dvd fix it' utility and run it. That resolves lots of issues like this.
