dbminter Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I created an image from overburned Audio CD. ImgBurn created the original CD-R because the source was an MP3 that was only just a few seconds over 80 minutes so I only had to overburn like 2 sectors. ImgBurn created 4 files: an .IMG, a .CCD, a .CUE and a .CDT. Or maybe it was a .CTD file, I forget. I've since deleted the files and I haven't created an image from an Audio CD since to see what the file extension was. I was wondering what this CDT/CTD file was. I know the .IMG is the main source file, .CCD is the CloneCD file for CloneCD and Virtual CloneDrive, .CUE is the standard file CUE/BIN/IMG. That last file, I don't know what it's for.
akgarlic Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Audio disc metadata file created by disc ripping, authoring, and burning applications; contains CD-Text data, which may describe the album name and song information; often saved with a .CUE and .BIN file that together comprise the data for an audio disc image. CD-Text is part of the Red Book CD standard, which was developed by Sony and Philips.
