tjyorke Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 After disabling my Norton 360 Auto-Protect and the Norton toolbar, I was able to download the file link to run the install from cnet.download.com, however, when I try to run the install I receive the following message: 'Installation failed-please check that your internet connection is active and try again.' There is no log file. I have tried download links from other websites and receive the same error. Thanks in advance!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 That message isn't one I've seen before from the real setup program. Visit ImgBurn.com and get it from mirror 7 on the download page.
tjyorke Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 Thanks for the reply! I had to turn off the Norton Smart Firewall also, before I could do the install. It then installed successfully.
