Burning 2 blu-rays at once, sometimes works and other times.....

.....it takes ages as the buffers need to recover. I can't understand it. I have 2 IMG Burns running, and I have BD-ISOs on one HD. Sometimes 2 BD-ISOs can burn perfectly fine with no buffer problems, and other times it comes up with a "waiting for buffers to recover" message every minute or so. The confusing thing is all BD ISOs are on the same drive, so why does it sometimes make a difference ? I tried to increase the buffer to 600mb but it didn't seem to help.

I burn both at 4x so they are not going too fast. One BD drive is external USB3 and the other BD drive internal SATA. My internal HD is SATA.

Any ideas what I can do ? Thanks.

Fragmentation on the source drive maybe? They're quicker reading at the start of the drive, so things slow down as the drive fills up. It's the random access that kills the transfer rate.

Have you tried the buffered I/O options to see if they make any difference?
