jwmghf Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Hey guys: Can I take a 40gb .iso and simply write the file to a dual layer BD using the "Write" function of Imgburn??? Also, in the log section, Img burn gave an error when trying to format the disk. Here is what it showed: I 12:17:37 Total Physical Memory: 12,573,816 KiB - Available: 9,005,480 KiBI 12:17:37 Initialising SPTI...I 12:17:37 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 12:17:38 -> Drive 1 - Info: PIONEER BD-RW BDR-206M 1.02-ID58 (D:) (ATA)I 12:17:38 -> Drive 2 - Info: WD Virtual CD 1110 1032 (H:) (USB 2.0)I 12:17:38 Found 1 BD-RE XL and 1 Unknown!I 12:19:26 Operation Started!I 12:19:26 Device: [7:0:0] PIONEER BD-RW BDR-206M 1.02 (D:) (ATA)I 12:19:26 Media Type: BD-RE (Disc ID: SONY-ES1-002)I 12:19:26 Media Supported Write Speeds: 2xI 12:19:26 Quick Erase: NoI 12:19:26 Format Properly: YesI 12:19:26 Format Size: PreferredI 12:19:26 Format With Full Certification: YesI 12:19:26 Format Without Spare Areas: YesI 12:19:26 Erasing Disc...W 12:19:27 FormatDisc(FT: 0x31, FST: 0x02) Not Supported!W 12:19:27 FormatDisc(FT: 0x31, FST: 0x03) Not Supported!I 12:20:09 Operation Successfully Completed! - Duration: 00:00:42I 12:20:09 Operation Started!I 12:20:09 Device: [7:0:0] PIONEER BD-RW BDR-206M 1.02 (D:) (ATA)I 12:20:09 Media Type: BD-RE (Disc ID: SONY-ES1-002)I 12:20:09 Media Supported Write Speeds: 2xI 12:20:09 Media Sectors: 12,219,392I 12:20:09 BD-RE FastWrite: NoI 12:20:09 Zeroing Sectors... LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Yes it's fine and yes it'll work burning an iso to the disc using write mode.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 The firmware (v1.02) on your drive is out of date btw, you can get the latest version (v1.04) from here: http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1882-file_BDR-206MBK_FW104EU.EXE.html
