unrox Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Had to format my hard drive, after installing Imgburn, noticed cannot get log to open, re-installed same thing. Using Win 8.1. T.I.A.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 The log is just a text file, open it with notepad.

Thanks for the reply, hate to sound stupid, but how do you go about opening it with notepad, tried right clicking, left clicking. For future reference can you tell me why, sometime, Log does not open on its own, it has happened to me a few times over the years. T.I.A.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 That's a windows thing and would just be to do with your file associations. I believe *.log defaults to opening with notepad, so if that isn't working, something has broken that association.

Right you are, went into defaults and notepad is listed as the default for .log, any idea why it is not opening?
