henriquegelio Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Hey there. I recently bought a pack of 25 medias BD-R DL RIDATA, 6x. I tried burning some .iso i've downloaded to those medias, but i'm always getting the error in the screen: My drive is an LG WH12LS39, i'm already with the latest firmware (1.03) and in the manufacturer's site it says that it is compatible with those kind of media. My first thought was that I was with an entire pack of damaged medias, so I trade it for a new one euqal to the old one, regardless of the speed that is now 4x instead of 6x. But, for my surprise, i'm still having the same error above. I really don't know what to do. I thing it is hard to be the drive that is damaged because i burned sucessfully a movie in a BD-R SL RIDATA 4x, many times, with no erros. I can also burn DVD's and CD's with no problems. My headacke is with the BD DL medias. Please, I seek for some support, and sorry for my bad english.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Do not mess around with the hardware read error retires setting, put it back on the default (of not setting it). Post the log of the next burn + verify you do once you've reset the settings back to default.
