maximum411 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I was trying to create images of a number of game disks with ImgBurn (for personal use only), but with one disk I repeatedly got the error mentioned in the title. Any help would be hugely appreciated. LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 That looks like safedisc or securom copy protection to me. I'm afraid ImgBurn won't work with protected discs.
maximum411 Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 Thanks- strangely I was able to make an image of this disc with CloneCD, but I wanted an ISO image.
maximum411 Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 On a non-ImgBurn related note, do you happen to know if the .img file generated by CloneCD can be renamed/converted to ISO?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Clonecd was designed for that type of thing. You can't use ISO for that, it relies on the extra data in the img and sub files.
