I downloaded a game to my brand new build, only to find out that offers4u  was installed. I removed it, and looked very closely at the installation and found that I did consent to it. But it is disappointing and underhanded to bundle software that has such a bad name out there (InfoAtoms, Snap.do) with what I thought was a good product. I am a developer, and people expect the software I deploy to them to be credible and trustworthy. I just don't feel that way about this product after discovering this. There are other posts from other people about this after do a google like this saying it is an adware. I am not sure if it changes anything. Instead, I will ask a direct question to the author: was anything else installed on my computer?

The installer uses the OpenCandy plugin for 3rd party offerings as part of the wizard. They have a large library of software they create offers from and it's all done dynamically within the wizard.

The bit of installer that I'm in complete control of just installs ImgBurn. The reset is down to you to opt in or out of whatever OpenCandy offers you. Their part wouldn't install something you've opted out of.
