Hi, I got the latest version of ImgBurn and I'm having this problem. I'm currently using an XBOX game .iso and I'm trying to burn it into a 7,45gb DVD+R DL

Whenever I load the disc, it says Disc Is Not Empty, and I can't burn the disc either. These are the infos:

With this DVD+R DL inserted in the drive, go into Read Mode and make sure ImgBurn returns Disc Is Empty.  This will make sure you didn't get some kind of rip off stack of already recorded discs.  Or it will isolate if it's a general reading problem with that drive and the type of disc.  Also try more than one of those CMC's and see if happens on more than one of those discs.

Could be the CMC discs you're trying to use.  Some drives may not like that DID and CMC is the worst manufacturer of optical discs out there.  Their DVD products have a high failure rate.  So, even if you do get it to recognize as a burnable disc, it may not Write complete or complete Verify.  And, if it does, it may not play properly.  And if it does, it probably won't be readable after a short while.

If you buy DVD in brick and mortar stores, they will 99% of the time be CMC.  Verbatim DVD+R DL is pretty much the only good quality disc.  However, you can't buy their Life series discs or DVD+R DL discs in stores.  They will be CMC.  Yes, even Verbatim farms out to the worst manufacturer out there!   You can only get the good stuff online.  You'll want the DataLife Series Plus DVD+R DL.
