I finally managed to get a couple of backups burned but, then everything went to shite!! Error messages from Shrink. I got the new Imgburn2.1 and I can't get anything to work right. I don't understand half (or more) of the lingo. I've read till I'm blue in the face!! My wife is pissed 'cause I spend so much time out here in the garage on my( her words) "G-damned F-ing computer!!!" It shouldn't be this difficult! Maybe I'm just a dunce! I don't know! I'm pretty sure it's not the programs. I'm pretty sure it's the dumbass at this keyboard. I need the remedial class for dummies or something! Build source D:\ DVDRW, target V:\ video\movie.iso. Right so far? Now Shrink select disc image: V:\video\movie.iso, re-author, select and drag to dvd window Main movie only. Select mode write somewheere in there and hit backup. goes into analysis mode. Everything seems to be going okay? Then goes into encoding mode and Shrink shuts down with error message Shrink has caused and error of some sort. (Something about access to memory.) and needs to shut down. Would I like to send an error report? Hell no I don't wan't Microsoft looking at my naked virtual private parts!! So anyway................... HHHEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!..............please? You will need to outline what you did at each stage and also try and either copy paste the error message or take a screen dump and attach it to your post there. blutach Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 Don't panic. You've made your ISO. Now all you really need is to double click the MDS file, insert a hiugh quality Verbatim DL DVD and click the big green burn button. Or if ImgBurn is already open, press Ctrl-Alt-W to get into write mode and select your ISO or MDS file and do the same. Tell your wife you'll be in in a minute.
