Hi LIGHTNINGUK!,

I've been looking for a way to upgrade the firmware on my (OEM LITEON) SSM-8515S 21C - crossflashing.

I've been reading about flashfix, and also found the firmwareHQ site:

http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/SSM-8515S/files.html

They mentioned this:

"...It is a joint venture between Digital Digest and ImgBurn.com..."

Before I download any files - I need to check out that the site is legitimate (just due diligence/prudence - nothing more), and that the files are from a verified and original source. I can't seem to see any MD5 or SHA1's published for the firmware files is all.

I am also having problem getting flashfix from a source I can verify as original and pure.

Can you provide some help please.

The md5 are listed on the individual firmware file pages aren't they?

The files are just downloaded from the official sites and then added to the firmwarehq site.

Most of the time, it's probably me doing it.
