alki79 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I get a problem ... when I decline all offers .. installation says complete but the program never install.?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Which version of Windows 10 exactly? I wouldn't expect it to get through the wizard without erroring out if it hadn't actually installed the program.
dbminter Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Did you check the C:\Program Files (x86) folder and make sure there isn't an ImgBurn folder there with the files installed there? Maybe it did install but didn't install "correctly," with no Start Menu items or program associations.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Try it again and watch the details bit. It should list what's being installed. You may have to click a button quickly during the install to see them.
tjinperspective Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Windows 10 wasn't even an idea on June 16, 2013, the day ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 came out. When I run it on Windows 10 Redstone 1, it says in the log I'm running it on Windows 8.0, which I'm not.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 That's true, but the OS also just reports itself as Windows 8 unless specific things are done with the manifest embedded in ImgBurn.exe. It was Microsoft's idea as a method of making the OS more backwards compatible.
