Latest firmware (1.34 ID60) flashed to burner. The only problems I've had so far are with "BD-R Dual Layer" with ID: "VERBAT-IMf-000" (rated 6x). I have had: two coasters at 4x speed: error verifying immediately after the layer-break one coaster at 6x speed: error writing immediately after the layer-break three successes at 2x speed with writing & verifying. I am using default settings in ImgBurn except for manually choosing the Write Speed. According to some reviews I've come across online, my burner ought to cope with this media at 4x or 6x speed. Should I therefore be concerned that my burner might be faulty? Or is this quite common, even with good brands such as Pioneer/Verbatim? I'm wondering whether or not to request an exchange while it's under warranty. Are there any settings in ImgBurn I can tweak to improve compatibility with BD-R DL at the rated speed of 6x (or even 4x)? Many thanks, Bluto. P.S. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 16, 2016 Share Posted October 16, 2016 The 'perform Opc before write' option in the settings might help. The people over at the myce forums have more experience with different drives and media. There's a thread related to that drive and testing media on it.
