Dear All.

I have problems with "may broken DVD´s" So I like to have a real 1:1 Copy of tham. That means ImgBurn have to look Sector by sector on the DVD.
I my Settings I see the File names, so I recomend that it did not do what I want.

That are the right settings? or how to copy the settings to show it?

Regards

Carsten

P.S.: Where did I able to change my Icon?

If they're copy protected DVD's, ImgBurn can't make copies of those, so you won't get "1:1" copies with it.  For those, about the closest you can get is to use Windows Explorer to copy the DVD contents to HDD and use Build mode to create a new DVD.  Of course, that won't be "1:1" but the contents will still be copy protected.  However, if you did this, I still don't know if the movie contents would play back.

I guess it also depends on what you mean by "broken" DVD's.

Read mode reads the disc sector by sector and outputs it 'as is' to an image file (iso) on your hdd.

Dear "Lightning UK!"

Greats form Germany to out of Europa :)

Thank You for your reply. You say, the opposite of "dbminter".

Of cause, that was my opinion. But I find at a "non Working DVD" that ImgBurn shows we a name of a Filename, as it try to copy. And that looks like that what "dbminter" sayed. As it copy sector by sector I request, that it tell me the sector No.

Regards and Merry Christmas.

We didn't say the opposite, I just told you how to make a 1:1.... and that's to use 'Read' mode ('Create image file from disc') followed by 'Write' mode ('Write image file to disc').

This guide tells you how to copy a disc.

Now, as dbminter said, ImgBurn doesn't bypass copy protection, so you can't use it on copy protected movies, games etc.

Thanks for Help.
