nvng Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 NOD32 Antivirus flags SetupImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe as containing Win32/FusioCore.l -- a PUA or potentially unwanted application. Is this a real issue or can be safely ignored? Thanks.
ianymaty Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 If you got it from ImgBurn mirror and the hash matches to what is posted in Download section you can safely ignore it.
dbminter Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 It also depends on personal preference. It's flagging OpenCandy, apparently, which phones home to a server for targeted advertising on installation, offering you other applications you may or may not, usually not, want to install. If you're really worried, just turn off your modem connection before running the ImgBurn installer. The installer will pause momentarily because OpenCandy can't contact its server, but it will eventually close off and continue running the ImgBurn installer unimpeded.
