Disc verifies but has blemishes

I exclusively use Verbatim single and dual layer media. I always burn at the lowest recommended media speed and verify all burns. However, even though the disc verifies and plays well in various media players, when I physically examine the disc under a magnifier sometimes there is a blemish. In the dye sometimes the size of a pin other times the size of a pea. Is the data missing? Or am I overthinking this since I've taken the recommended precautions? Thank You
