"i01" volume of the ISO seems to be empty

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong:

 

Goal:
Create ISO image from a folder of 1,5 GB splitted in two volumes of 870 MB containing photos and videos.

Actived options:
Disk layout editor > CD (870MiB / 99min)
Tools > Settings > Build > File Splitting: 870 MB.

Result:
As expected, three files: one .mds file and two volumes (.i00 and i.i01) created.

When mounted everything seems to be OK, but the content corresponding with the second volume is not readable.

When verifing "against image file":

The same happens with more info and splitting in 4'5GB.

Any idea about what goes wrong? Thanks.

The files can only be used together - as in you mount the mds and the i00 and i01 files are pulled into the equation automatically.

 

It will not 'span' images/discs, which I assume is what you're actually after.

Well, I just mount the two volumes through the mds file. Perhaps with the picture below is easier to explain:

I've only tried the images with Daemon tools. I do not know if other virtual drive tools will mount them correctly.

Ok. I'm using WinCDEmu. Is supposed to be quite complete, but yeah, may be this could be the reason.

I haven't used Daemon Tools in so long I've forgotten pretty much everything I knew about using it.  I use Virtual CloneDrive now.
