Erase disc from command line

Recommended Posts

Hello-

Is there a way to initiate a quick/full erase of a disc from the command line?

I looked through the readme.txt file for command line options that would appear to be for this task but came up empty handed unfortunately.  The closest thing I could find was an option that tells imgburn to automatically erase first when overwriting a previously used disc, but in my case I'm not actually burning an ISO or anything--just clearing the disc.

Perhaps it is something that could be exposed as a command line option in the future if not currently possible?

Thanks

Sorry, no.

Unless 'Erase' gets its own 'Mode', I don't see it becoming a standalone feature you can control via CLI.

It doesn't really need its own mode per se.  Any of the write modes would work.
