HI,

I have ASUS BW-16D1HT. I bought 50gb bluray verbatim disc 25pack from amazon for backing up my data. I wrote about 10 disc with imgburn with no problem. But after that it started to show write error. Only error occurs in 50 GB Verbatim discs. I already lost 7-8 discs in a row. I tried a verbatim 25gb RE disc which burned fine. Still 15-16 disc left. But can this be due to Burner error or its the verbatim disc. BD 50 gb is not available in my city. I am pasting the log. After 1 error the disc proceeds with the write and finishes it successfully. But the disc is unreadable.  Please help.

Have you disabled the verify option? It's important we see the *full* log of both the write AND verify operations.

If your drive can't produce a working burn at 6x, try one of the other supported speeds.

Define unreadable.  It's a Blu-Ray movie that won't play in a Blu-Ray player?  Or, you insert the BD into a PC drive and there are no contents when you navigate to the drive in Windows/File Explorer?  Try performing a Read operation on this disc.  What does ImgBurn return?  Was anything actually written to the disc?
