Really disappointed to find that even after unchecking all the boxes and downloading directly from the imgburn mirror there was still malware and even trojans in the software.

If you opted out of installing any 3rd party software you were offered by the installer, it wouldn't have installed anything apart from ImgBurn.

 

I don't know what the installer will offer you, but the offers are usually on a single 'page' of the wizard.

 

Of course you could have downloaded from any of the other mirrors and not had any offers at all.
