DVD burner not working

My dvd burner was working fine and still plays fine, just can't seem to burn anymore. Keep getting the following error message.

 

 

"I/O Error!

Device [1:0:0] HL-DT_DVDRAM GH24NSB0 LF00 (D:) (ATA)

CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 0
Enterpretation: Write (10) - Section: 0-31

Reason: Incorrect function."

 

Another program I tried kept saying "Burn process failed. The device is busy". Don't really want to replace it if it's a settings problem.

It looks like something you’ve installed is blocking the command used to write to the disc. This is not a settings issue.
