Jude law Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) Good evening ! I'd like to save a huge hard-disk located data folder that has many files, on a 100gb blu-ray disk. Files have sometimes a very long path, files and folders have long names, file names and folder names are in English, French (with accents) and Russian (with Cyrillic letters) It has to be readable from a computer, but I don't want to change pathnames nor files names. I need to have a perfect copy of my folder. I have chosen UDF 2.50 in the option tab I have "include hidden files", "include system files ", and "preserve full pathnames" checked. Yet I'm still getting some warnings after browsing for my folder and calculating image file size : "UDF File System: 16 folder/file names have been modified due to your current settings." Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS : I'm using windows 7 (64), and Imgburn version 2.5.8.0 Edited March 30, 2018 by Jude law
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Can you post the log please? I believe what's been modified gets mentioned in there. It might help us understand why.
Jude law Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) Sorry, I deleted the files, they were not important ones, I don't have any warning anymore. yet still I wonder : Should I check or uncheck the "preserve full pathnames" box ? Edited March 30, 2018 by Jude law
Jude law Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) I don't understand what the "preserve full pathnames" setting means. And I couldn't find any explanation anywhere. Edited March 30, 2018 by Jude law
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Say you drag a folder with the following path into the source box or DLE window... C:\Users\Me\Documents\stuff With 'preserve full pathnames' on, you'll end up with the 'Users' folder in the root of the disc. With it off, you'll end up with the 'stuff' folder in the root of the disc.
