GearJamminSOB Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I have the files burned to a USB drive, this is the third time I tried to burn an ISO of Win 7 Ult SP1 to removable media, the this time I let someone from MS go ahead and to the work (no personal info on that drive), they used whatever program they use to burn the image and make the disk bootable. At the end of the process, after downloading the files and burning the ISO to the disk, at the end of the process to make the disk bootable that program (I think it might be called Rufus) generated an error, the green progress bar turned to red and the verbiage was basically along the the lines the the process to make this disk bootable had failed. I have the program Imgburn, now that I have these files burned to a USB disk, can Imgburn make the disk bootable?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 ImgBurn is for optical discs, not usb sticks.
