Hi, I'm  trying to use ImgBurn on Ubuntu, via Wine. I've inserted a new empty cd in my device, Ubuntu confirm me that it's good. ImgBurn says that can't find my device. Does someone have good ideas for me? This is my log:

I 18:28:35 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started!
I 18:28:35 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) (Wine v1.6.2)
I 18:28:35 Total Physical Memory: 2.038.436 KiB  -  Available: 1.592.608 KiB
I 18:28:35 Initialising ASPI...
I 18:28:35 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...
W 18:28:35 No devices detected!

Thank you!

Wine will need to be advertising the drive properly so the program can pick it up.

Have you configured wine?

I'm very ignorant with wine... :( Usually I just open my software and let it go, also because I use windows software very seldom. How should I do, can you help me? Meanwhile I will try to do something (and I will destroy my PC :D )

Hmm actually, mine just worked fine without needing to configure anything.

I only have Ubuntu 12.10 running inside vmware on a Windows PC though. I was using Wine 1.6.1

You've been very kind. Now I'll try to understand why Wine can't see my cd-rom in the device menu. I don't want to go OT, because it's clear that the problem is not ImgBurn. But WHEN I find the solution, I'll post it there, so that other users will solve their problem too. Thank you!!
