Time it takes for ImgBurn to create from a Japanese Disk

I have a Japanese Playstation game that I would like to create as a .bin or .img file but it has been running for over an hour.

How long does it actually take to create a .bin/.img file from a 581.65MB, 259,313-sector Japanese Playstation game?

It is 0%, still on "Analysing Tracks (Session 1, Track 2)" with the log at "File Splitting: Suto"

You'll probably have to give up with that.

If your drive keeps looping round as it's trying to determine the gap between tracks (it queries the drive for specific info), there isn't much I can do I'm afraid. If you have access to another drive, you could try it in that.

Yes, some PS1 discs cannot be read by ImgBurn burn in some drives.  Try installing Alcohol 120% Free.  That's what I do whenever I needed a PS1 game read to an image file that was stuck in an infinite Analysing Tracks loop.

I actually went to work and it was done in less than 2 hours and 20 minutes - I guess I had to be patient - I guess that this might be for some other new users.

There is code in it to try and get around the situation where drives don't behave themselves, but it takes time to actually get to the stage where it gives up :) Or perhaps your drive eventually returned what the program was asking of it :)
