Muse Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 (edited) I have a CD with 31 tracks, about 9 of which are short verbal explanations. I'd like to burn copies with the explanations removed. My first experiment failed. I just deleted, e.g., track 9 if it was a narrative, etc. and renumbered all the tracks. The narratives wound up at the end of the previous track. Most of my CUE files have a line (including the disc I'm working on here): INDEX 01 - - - - I have one CUE file that has for each track: INDEX 00 INDEX 01 The first track of that CD's CUE rip has this: TRACK 01 AUDIO TITLE "K124 in G major" ISRC 0?4002300000 INDEX 00 00:00:00 INDEX 01 00:00:33 However, that track is 2:13 long, which confuses me. I don't understand the function of the INDEX's. Is there a way I can modify the CUE file to just include, say, tracks 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 11, 14, etc.? Edited December 25, 2020 by Muse
dbminter Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 I tried a piece of freeware software that lets you edit CUE files; I forget what it was called. However, it failed to do the trick. So, I don't know if it really is possible to edit existing CUE files or not.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 If you only have things in 1 big wav or bin file, no, you can’t just remove things from the queue.
