dbminter Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 What exactly triggers the production of MDS files when the option is selected? For instance, for DVD-5 ISO's, no MDS is made, but for DVD-9's it is. MDS is also generated for any "CD sized" ISO files made from DVD's that are "CD sized." I am guessing MDS might be generated for DVD-9 to store layer break information? But, what about the "CD sized" ISO's? Thanks!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Yes, besides being made for images using file splitting, it’s made for anything with a layer break and for anything under 1gb in size - as that’s the cut off point for daemon tools to emulate a cd rather than a dvd.
