Increasing Buffer size to 4GB+

is there anyway to increase the buffer size to more than 1GB?

 

in the latest version the maximum value available for buffer size is 1024.

 

i want to increase that to 4.5GB .

I don't believe that's a user accessible variable.  So, it's probably hard coded into the software at a 1 GB cap.
