ok idiot noob here, how do i edit posts, or delte streams?

ok, i have to rewrite to thecrip, since i was a dumbass and skipped over the tips.  then i wrote in the start stream thinking it would attach to the thread i created.  went to edit the post by clicking on the 3 dots, which usually does it in other forums, was only offered the share option.  so now i'm utterly confused, is there a thread that shows you how to use these forums?  i mean i'm logged in, otherwise i couldn't post. weird it let me edit this post, is this post in the right place or should it have been placed in the guides.  the guides look like postings asking for help with the program, not actual guides.

Under the 3 gray dots, you should usually find commands to Edit and Delete a post.  Why only Share is there is odd.  Share is your only option when you're generally recognized as not being the one who started a thread.

You're still a 'New Member' and that group of users has certain restrictions in place.

Once you move beyond it, you'll have more freedom.
