can I increase the software buffer ?

Hi

i have tried to burn a cd increasing the buffer , in the preferences ->build -> page 2-> read buffer size 512

 

but in the log there is always 80mb why?

It's on Page 2 of the I/O tab in the Settings.

thanks , i have found it

but may i know the meaning of ->build -> page 2-> read buffer  ?

does it mean when i create a data dvd ,  it does use only 80mb to load the data in the ram before buring or something else?
