Zipsick Posted Friday at 06:24 PM Posted Friday at 06:24 PM Hello. New to this. Searched for answer and found none. Please help. Probably simple but need help. Just downloaded a couple Music CD's. Now I want to try to burn them to my new Blank Discs. Also pretty new to ImgBurn. Though I have been using it lately with great success burning DVD's. So, I have my Music ready to Go on my computer and a blank cd in the drive. I open ImgBurn. There are Icon choices. I believe I should choose Write/Files folders to disc. But when I look at choices from the source menu it wants me to choose a dvd movie. So I think I did the wrong thing. I go back and try again. This time I go to the Mode Menu. I click on Write. I can't seem to open my music files this way either . Darn!! I am in DESPERATE NEED OF HELP!!!!! I don't have a clue what I'm doing! Please send me some detailed info on how to set up ImgBurn to burn my wav Music to cd. Thanks!!!!!
dbminter Posted Friday at 06:46 PM Posted Friday at 06:46 PM It's nearly 20 years old and the shown images may be out of date, but the steps should be relatively the same in this old guide:
LIGHTNING UK! Posted Friday at 07:33 PM Posted Friday at 07:33 PM Hopefully you have a CUE file to burn?
dbminter Posted Friday at 07:42 PM Posted Friday at 07:42 PM Forgot to mention this. No, you don't use Write Files/Folders to disc to burn Audio CD image files. That just writes whatever files/folders you select to the disc 1:1. Yes, as was said, if they are Audio CD image files, you will need BIN/CUE format files.
