cornholio7 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 change your discs for verbatim or taiyo yuden and the problem will disappear, your CMC's are bad
lfcrule1972 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 If you search the forum for the dreaded words "CMC MAG" you will see hundreds of problems with that media. You need to buy your discs by media ID (see log above) rather than name on the pack. CMC MAGs are all over the place...
San2123 Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 I'm not sure what "CMC's" are, But thank you. I will switch to verbatim and give it a try. Again thank you for you help. It is nice to know that I have found a place that I can ask questions and get answers. Again thanks!!!!!!
lfcrule1972 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 CMC MAGs are part of the media ID for discs made by the CMC Magnetic corp. If you look here http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=15 you will see that they make loads of media - but none of it good
zacoz Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I'm sure CMC Magnetic corp. used to be the company that kept all those third world countries economies afloat by making widgets. Up until the technology boom and the bottom fell out of the widget market.
