Zoran Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I recently tried burning a dvd from an *.iso file for the first time and ended up with a coaster. Turns out that all the files that would normally be inside of a VIDEO_TS folder (VOB, IFO, BUF, etc) were placed directly on the root of the DVD. Did I miss an option that automatically creates the directory and moves the files in there when burning from an *.iso file? Or do I need to do it manually somehow? Thanks in advance.
polopony Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 If you can post a log along with your questions that helps a lot .In build mode you have the option of adding files or folders to be made into an ISO .Check the guides forum
zacoz Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Sounds like your original ISO file (presumably created by another program) was made without the VIDEO_TS directory. ImgBurn would therefore have burnt the ISO without the directory - it doesn't change the source when using ISO Write mode. As suggested by polopony, a log file, build mode, and the guides are our friends.
