Gary D Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 (edited) Since the LG-4163 needs to be told to bitset every burn as this info is not retained in its memory, will ImgBurn do it for me?? When I queue up 4 burns or more, it goes NEC(3550), LG, NEC, LG Now with the second LG burn, is the burner retold to bitset the +R to DVD-ROM? Gary D PS Sorry for the multiple posts. cornholio7 Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 the lg drives only need to be reset after a re-boot afaik
lfcrule1972 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I think corny is right - so unless you have re-started (in which case the queue won't work) it will remember the bit set change in a queue.
lfcrule1972 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Oh and you might be able to find a solution with a Google search, I know I have seen a post along these lines before with a drive that doesn't retain the setting. There was in that case an app that did the job for you
blutach Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I got one and corny is right. Use Alex Noe's bitset utility to set it automatically on startup Regards
