Luna711 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Why did it burn to my computer's memory instead of burning to the DVD? What am I doing wrong? Please someone help!
kevdriver Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Luna 711, Are you sure you were in write option and not build option? Build option would put the image onto your Hard drive instead of burning onto a blank disc............ As Corny said Please post a log so we coulkd check out whats happening.
lfcrule1972 Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=61 The guide above tells you how to burn an image to your discs using ImgBurn and the one below takes you through building an .iso from files on your HDD http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1779
Luna711 Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 LOG? I don't even know what that mean's! Iam an 80 year old woman trying to do this on my own! All you young kid's are very smart. I did make sure that I was on "write "and as soon as I press the disc on the bottom left a screen comes up asking me to open a folder, this is how it happened last time and ended up burning to my computer. I also followed the instruction's the "Little Blue Car" have me and on #4 he talk's about that folder. Why? Please help Grama'!!
Kenadjian Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 LOG? I don't even know what that mean's! The log is all the writing at the bottom of the app. If yours is not enabled, you can do so by pressing 'L' on the key board, then you'll see a heap of text filling it, that's what we need, simply copy and paste it with your next post. It does sound like you're in 'build' mode, but the log will confirm this. Side note: Most of us are far from 'young kids'.
Kenadjian Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 That's why I said MOST, you young wipper snapper.
lfcrule1972 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Well I am relatively young Not as young as the boss though !! Hey Luna711 if you follow the guides I posted above you should be ok - they are step by step
