Is it possible to save .cue sheet without reading entire cd?

Hi. I am trying to make backups of my audio CD collection and for the most part I use EAC for it's accurate rip feature but I prefer the neater .cue sheets and .cdt files made by imgburn.  Is it possible to save .cue sheet (and .cdt) without reading entire cd? Seems like there should be an option for that in "View Media Information" dialog or somewhere else.  Currently it seems these files are only created after the entire read is complete or am i not looking in the right place?

As far as I am aware of, .CUE sheets are only created from Read operations and when the user creates a .CUE sheet from audio container files.
