I'm new to this game so please don't extract the urine!

I remember when it was safe to walk to school on your own and you could hit your kids so it shows you how old I am!!

I have just downloaded the software and it looks great but I need to get my head around what it can or can't do.

I am an engineer and work daily in prgramming phone systems etc so not altogether stupid.

I have some old commercial training videos and need to convert them to DVD. Some have been fine but I have a couple where the speech very quickly goes out of Sync. I assume that is done on purpose to stop the copying?

Is the right software for me to use and how do i go through the stages of getting from a VHS tape to DVD format.

I have a capture card on the PC and used Pinnacle Studio to capture the tape but had the above sync problem when final disc cut.

Any help would be appreciated please

tks

Welcome to the forum :shakehands:

Personally I have never tried to convert Video to DVD but I am 100% certain ImgBurn is not what you need for the conversion process. A Google search would probably be the best thing, I seem to recall a program called "ULead VideoStudio" that might be what you are looking for, but as I said I have never done it myself......

Once you have your video converted to dvd compliant files, vobs, bup, ifo's or iso's then ImgBurn is what you will need to actually burn it to blank DVD?R or DVD+R Dual Layer depending on the size of the project. Check out the Guides section below for help with that stage....
