libbygem Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hi, I recently started using imgburn to burn mix CDs, but im running into an issue where every time i try to write the disc, i get an error message saying that the power calibration area is full. I've tried lowering write speed all the way down to 1x but that didn't work. I changed my setting to perform OPC before write-in, and then i was just stuck at 0% writing leadin. Looking at the log, i noticed it said that my drive can only write at 10x. 16x, or 24x. So I did 10x, still didn't work. My drive is a "hl-dt-st dvdram guc0n as01" from amazon. Im using verbatim cd-r. Ive attached my log, thanks! LOG: I 14:50:47 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started! dbminter Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago Ritek actually made those CD-R for Verbatim: I 14:56:46 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m15s17f, Ritek Co.) And it seems your drive probably doesn't like that kind of disc. Try the Verbatim DataLife Plus CD-R or Taiyo Yuden/CMC Pro CD-R. See if you have better luck.
