Sony Accucore

Has anybody reviewed the sony accucore range of 16x media. Goes by the code of Sony16D1 for the -R and Sony-D21-0 for the +R

 

Are they any good

everyone in the know uses Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden ,we've seen plenty of I/O errors with Sony or drives that flat out don't like them. When Verbs and Yudens work so well why bother with other stuff . I bought 200 16X -R verbs for $54, thats 27 cents each

how much better can I do ? The sonys are $23/50 double what I pay

blikkies, The Sony media your talking about with accurcore I have tried. In my opinoin they are very hit and miss, some burn and verify okay, others not. As the other other members all agree on, just stick with Verbs or Tys for a consistent and successful burn and verify.

Thanks guys, I normally use verbs but the local stores are been flooded with the sony accucores. I seem to have good results with them but I know that the verbs are totally the best

check out the quality of picture when you compare the same img burnt on sony or verbs/tys. There is a marked clarity difference expecially with a HD television.
