Niccoli Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 (edited) Hi all. I'm trying to make a copy of a DVD but it's not going so well. I can make the actual copy and then its verified fine, but when I try and play it in any media player, it plays horrible. It plays but with messed up colors, distorted screen, blurry, etc. In short I can't watch the DVD even though ImgBurn says it succeeds in copying it and verifying it and the DVD plays on my media players. Just with absolute horrible, unwatchable quality. What should I do? Thank you And I know the program works b/c I can start the DVD copy and my friend used it to backup a game the other day and the game worked fine. Edited December 12, 2006 by Niccoli
Kenadjian Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Use Power DVD or Media player classic, the second one is free and does a good job. Media player is shocking at playing DVD's.
lfcrule1972 Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Also if you post a copy of the log from your burns with these discs we can help you determine if the media you are using is shit. If you don't have a log to hand then pop the disc in your drive, open ImgBurn and copy all the information (need to scroll down) from the window on the right and then post it up here Poor quality playback can also be a sign of shitty media like CMC MAG dye.
