Zirrad Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I've had no problem burning 25 Fuji disks with imgburn, and now "Program Memory Area Update Failure" has shown up with the last 4 burn attempts. Bad batch of disks? Clean the lens? Thanks for any insights. - Z Here's the log: ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.1.0.0 - Log ; Monday, 18 December 2006, 20:30:45 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 19:06:49 ImgBurn Version 2.1.0.0 started! Zirrad Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Dammit... looked back in the logs and the old media was: DVD+R (Book Type: DVD+R) (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-R01-02) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x) the ones that aren't working are: DVD+R (Disc ID: PRODISC-R05-01) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x) Same manufacturer, same label, just a pack of 50 rather than 25.... merde.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Yep. Prodisc are garbage. I think you've found your problem.
